Explore Labrador in a fun and unique way in this real life family-friendly game of hide and seek. There are more than 300 “caches” hidden in and around Labrador West and it’s up to you to find them. All you need is a GPS device, a set of coordinates, a sense of adventure and then the hunt is on!
Caches are hidden all over the world by fellow geocachers who put together a hodgepodge of trinkets, a logbook and pen or pencil, and perhaps a disposable camera. This hoard is then stuffed into a weatherproof box and hidden under a rock, behind a tree or maybe even in a more urban locale. Find the cache and log your find. It’s that simple!
Caches can be varying shapes and sizes and may be cleverly disguised to look like something else so be thoughtful in your quest because that random rock on the ground may not actually be a rock!
