What an amazing weekend for The Great Canadian Life Project! All weekend long, the Town of Wabush hosted a variety of indoor recreation activities for families and friends to come together to celebrate Canada 150!
Friday Night, kicked off the weekend with Free Glow Bowling! The alley was full and people had a great time. The event was also attended by a very special guest, Miss Canada Globe’s, Miss South West Newfoundland and Labrador Jailen Spurrell. Free Bowling was held Mar 3rd from 6 – 9 pm.

Next on March 4th, Labrador West folks were invited to attend Free Swimming for Parents and Tots from 2-3pm and a free general swim that evening. Both events were well received with high participation rates. The evening swim resulted in max capacity for the pool. Also, that day, the Bill Chaplin Arena was opened up for free skating from 1-2pm.
