Fred Hutton (CBC) refered to Neil Simmons as Labrador West's window to the world.
With over 2500 images published with The Telegram, The Downhomer, Here and Now, and NTV News. Also to his credit Neil has three national published magazine covers,and two pictures in a book by Robert Mullins commissioned by The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. A freelance journalist photographer for The Telegram, The National Post and a member of The Canadian Press, Neil had the top picture in Canada for July 2013.
Moving from St John's in 1990 to work for the Iron Ore Company of Canada this lucky husband of one and father of three children calls Labrador home.
Neil has been known the spend many hours in the frigid night temperatures of Labrador West looking for that ideal shot. Always with his camera by his side, Neil can be seen all over Labrador West at special events, sporting venues and local functions looking to capture Our Labrador.
